Peter Oruamen is an all encompassing writer, an actor, a blogger, a creator, an innovator and occasionally, a poet.
Born Abiodun Omolei Oruamen in the Iju suburb of Lagos, Nigeria, Peter Oruamen has always had a passion for the Big Screen. At 15, he wrote a novella and a short script. At 17, he met with Nigeria's foremost movie director and producer, Tade Ogidan; had correspondence with Kunle Afolayan in hope of making his first movie.
Peter Oruamen is a self-taught "everything". He had always been fascinated with movies. He has a very unique way of telling stories. His influences stem from Hollywood; he admires the works of directors like Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Zack Snyder, Frank Miller; screenwriters like Simon Kinberg; actors like Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson.
Peter Oruamen's favorite genre is sci-fi , action and superhero movies hence his love for Stan Lee and his Marvel characters and the DCEU.
Peter Oruamen has been influenced by Quetin Tarantino for is out-of-chronological-order script style and Frank Miller for the Sin City styled neo noir dark storytelling. He has scripted two neo noir short film scripts, A Night To Remember and A Bandit To Catch.
His credit includes scripting the car chase action sequence for the Fiyin Gambo directed, Pursuit, several short film scripts in different stages of development with the producers, a feature film in pre-production and working in the capacity of a screenwriter cum researcher for Cut24 Productions' documentary feature series produced by Hauwa Allahbura.
